About me

My name is Claudia König. I was born on the 28th of January 1979 in Demmin in Germany. Since I was a Teenager I am interested in working with children and worked as a babysitting. After I finished school, I did a 3-year Appenticeship in domestic economy. I finished this apprenticeship as best of the school and 7th best in the state of Mecklenburg Vorpommern in Germany.

After my apprenticeship I worked as childminder for a 2 year old boy until I found a job as service staff in a Hotel.
From 1998 to 2002 I worked in a big family holiday Hotel (Kolping Familien Ferienstaette Salem), where I was responsible for the service team in the kitchen.

When my Husband got a Job in Karlsruhe (southwest of Germany), I went back into the childcare. The following 4 years I worked as Nanny for an at the begining 2 years old boy. I was also responsible for shopping and doing the laundry for the family. Within that time my two boy's Niclas (Feb 2003) and Max (Feb 2006) where born.
Due to the school start of the boy I kept care for, I started my own Childcare business until we moved to Auckland in February 2006.
After we had settled here in Auckland I worked as a Nanny again and was responsible for 2 children (10 and 8 years of age) until our 3rd child Victoria Marie was born.
